    Nice use for an old ladder. And I'm sure the birds like having all those plants around for protection.

    great idea. Heading to the barn to see if we have a step ladder. It gives the birds a place to wait in line for the birdbath.

    Maybe having the plants on the ladder is not such a good idea.....We did the same thing and it's a great idea but the trick is to keep the raccoons and possums from climbing on it and not knocking the pots off. I was forever picking the pots up but decided they won and just left it empty.....if you don't care, they won't care.....but I love this idea. I have a large ladder and put a huge bird house on top of it. Wrapped some grapevine around the sides and made little plaques and attached them to the steps..."Home Sweet Home", "Home is Where the Heart Is" get my ....I love these kinds of projects.
