Deborah, it's Lantana and likes hot sunny areas. Comes in several ccolors. Mostly golds and yellows and white.

Just love these, wish they were perennials but even if there not, still love the multi colors of them.

Yes, it is definitely lantana. While they are perennials in Florida, Kate, I've often seen them used in planters and hanging baskets up north so you could at least enjoy the flowers from now through your first frost.

I have lantana in my yard and it looks nothing like this Are there different varieites? My Lantana has single blossoms, not clusters like this plant

Perhaps you should post a photo of what you have, Debi. Every lantana I've seen has clusters of blooms.

I found this on Wikipedia. This is also lantana, but the leaves look quite different from the above picture

This is multi-colored Lantana...A native, here in Texas. Grows wild in the ranch country. There is also a yellow variety that is very drought resistant and is lovely in beds.

Its a multi colored lantana but they come in all different colors they are beautiful I've have several:-) but I've never had bees just humming birds and butterflys

Just for informational purposes, it's poisonous to dogs. Actually to several types of animals, but dogs are more likely to graze on enough of it to do damage.

It is lantana. I have several plants, all colors from this multicolor through lavender and orange to red. If it were daytime, I'd go take a picture, because it grows right next to my pink primroses!

Definitely lantana. Definitely not primrose. You will notice a distinctive smell from the lantana leaves. Comes in several colors. Butterflies and other pollinators love these, but I understand the hybrid plants (bred for color and plant size) don't have pollen, so they don't attract the insects as much, if at all.

Yes, plant is a Lantana. I have one and it needs cutting almost down to the ground in early winter. In the late spring it will come back bigger and prettier. Mine spreads out about 4-5 feet and is 4 years old. Water a few times in the winter. Hope this helps.

Lantana is very hardy and drought resistant. Some people don't like its smell, but I like it. It spreads on its on and is easily started from new plants. Mine came from an older home and many people have got started from the plant. It stays blooming all summer and just needs to be cut back to the ground before Spring.

It is lantana. Classed as a noxious weed in Australia. Deadly to cows and horses. We try to get rid of it here.
