Angelica is somewhat challenging to grow, but definitely a great plant for making people say, "What in the world is that."
it is queen anne lace which is a weed
This is not Queen Anne's lace, although flower is similar. It is Angelica. GIveaway is the purple stalk. Good herb for women's health.

Looks like Heracleum, forbidden in Québec. Dangerous to burn the skin.
Looks like an herb angelica https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angelica_archangelica
Many people get this plant mixed up with COW PARSNIP which is harmless. Be very careful with this plant around here we call is Hogs Wart. To get rid of it wear protective covering, hubby's coveralls and thick leather gloves. I cut it off or pull it out which ever is easiest. Then I burn it, this is best done when the plant is small. Don't let anyone inhale the smoke when you burn it. The smoke is toxic, I was told it is part of the Hemlock family. We fight to get rid of this plant every year, it will kill small livestock if they eat it.
