Looking for ideas-How would you remodel this shower?

We have this shower in a rental-it's clean and functional. But I'm thinking of tearing out the old tub surround and putting in either ceramic or porcelain. Can anybody lend me some creative ideas for using those materials with glass mosaics to make this space look unique? Thanks everyone. www.homerepairtutor.com

I have seen the tiles that look like wood used in a shower. Looked great! Unique and a big choice of wood patterns, plus just as waterproof as any other ceramic tile.

@J markham Love your idea of the wood looking tiles....I guess it would depend on the style of the house and the look you are going for, but with the color choices for wood tiles, you can have loads of fun picking out the tile.

if there are no windows or if it is badly lit you may want to stick to a light color pallet. subway tiles can reflect a lot of light in the room.
