DIY Natural Yoga Mat Spray

You may remember as Chanda and I sprung into this year we made it a goal to live a healthier lifestyle and strive to find some balance. Yes that means the obvious- nutrition and diet, but also finding some time to breathe and enjoy the silence. To achieve this big goal we have been hitting up our weekly Friday yoga sesh every chance we can get. You can imagine that over time it's not just our bodies that can get sweaty- but our yoga mats too! That's why this little diy is SO handy, SO simple and also SO thrifty. Plus it will leave your yoga mat feeling fresh and smelling glorious for your next class.

Fill your spray bottle with the witch hazel and water ratio, it will be 3/4 water and 1/4 witch hazel
When it comes to the essential oils it's it's important to include those with antibacterial properties, such as tea tree, lemongrass, lavender, peppermint, and eucalyptus. I chose tea tree and lavender. I added about 5 drops of each, this amount can vary based on the scent and how strong you want it to be.
Time to label your spray bottle, I scored these cute chalkboard stickers at the dollar store.
Give a spritz after each use and you are all set!
