Embroidered Drift Wood Wall Hanging

Give your wall a touch of the sea with this embroidery floss wrapped drift wood piece. I live right by the water and thought it would be great to gather some drift wood from among the rocks and make something lovely. Attach twine to help it hang and add a boho touch to any room!
SUPPLIES:
STEP 1: Take your long piece of driftwood and twist a screw eye into each end.
STEP 2: Cut a long piece of twine. Feed the ends of this twine strand through each screw eye and tie into a knot.
STEP 3: Arrange your smaller pieces of driftwood in a line under the long piece of driftwood.
STEP 4: Take a pen and mark where you want the embroidery floss to begin on each piece of driftwood.
STEP 5: Choose embroidery floss in the color of your choice and tie a knot around the first small piece of driftwood.
STEP 6: Wrap the embroidery floss around the wood and tie a knot. Leave a long strand of embroidery at the top. This will allow you to tie it to the long piece of driftwood later.
STEP 7: Put a drop of glue over the knot to secure it in place and let dry.
STEP 8: Arrange your embroidered driftwood pieces in the design of your choice so you know which order to tie them to the longer piece of driftwood.
STEP 9: Using the long strands of embroidery left from step 6 tie your small driftwood pieces to the long driftwood piece in the order you pre-arranged. I wrapped mine around the piece of driftwood several times and then tied a knot to keep it in place.
STEP 10: Cut any tail ends that are hanging from the knots you tied. Now hang it where you please and enjoy!
