A 'touched up' porch ceiling

I have a rustic porch and wanted something more for the ceiling rather than completely covering it. I wanted to keep the 'outdoors' feel to it. A total drop ceiling in my opinion would have given it a too finished look. Oh! Did I mention that I'm not rich either? So it had to be economical. This is what I came up with. There is less than 50 dollars in it! ;-D

Your Florida room looks very inviting with your plants. I like your trunk used for a coffee table too!

Nice idea, wouldn't want to have to dust it though! I paint all my porch ceilings sky blue, an old American standard. Looks great anywhere and year round.
