All of the lawns in my area are plagued with moles. We have tried every available method. Is there something that is proven to eliminate these pests?

Actually Walter Reeves has some suggestions on his website http://www.walterreeves.com/?s=moles

Excellent suggestions on the site Donna mentioned. However, if you want to get rid of the moles permanently, you have to get rid of the grubs in your soil which is their food source. Organically, you can go with Milky Spore, it is expensive and takes some time to get going, but will last for 20 years plus. In the mean time Gardens Alive sells a beneficial nematode which will work for at least a year, it's fairly inexpensive and extremely easy to apply. Plus Garden's Alive has excellent customer support if you have questions, etc. We applied Milky Spore to our main garden areas over 25 years ago and it's still going strong, plus it spreads.

It seems moles have been a big problem our area coming into the store looking for something to get rid of them. I know getting rid of the grubs is the main source of getting those pesky pest to look else where

Using the Castor oil spray from the store has helped us.

Donna is right, it's a temporary fix, but evidently moles and voles don't like the taste of Castor oil either. LOL And you can soak the ground with it, it's totally non-toxic to birds, other animals etc.
