Got this solid wood coffee table at auction this past weekend for $5...yep, $5. It was scratched on top and had water rings. Some sanding, a little watered down paint, a dry brush technique, a little more sanding and a coat of stain over the top turned it into what I think is a cool old distressed barnwood look.
Before (after sanding to rough it up and expose some of the wood)
After - I plan to fill the center with some smooth gray rocks before I put it up for sale on Craig's List...any other suggestions of what to put in the center?
