In a short time we will celebrate Father's Day and I have prepared a little present for my Dad: I created a useful object for his desk, a nice paperweight, which is easy and quick to make using materials you already have at home. It's the perfect project to make with kids!
Easy DIY peg paperweight
From the corrugated cardboard cut a rectangle the same size of the peg.
Red striped cardstock for the tie.
Cut a a strip from the white cardboard and make the shirt collar.

From the patterned cardboard draw and cut the tie and the heart.
Red cardboard with tiny hearts for the heart.
Glue the corrugated cardboard on the peg and then glue on it the collar, the tie and the heart.

Add a nice card and your present is ready!
Suggested materials:

I don’t understand the what the “peg” part is. To me it looks like a huge clip clothespin! I have never seen anything that resembles the peg at any “dollar” stores! Regular size clothespins but not HUGE and to me they don’t resemble a PEG. Please make me understand as I would like to make one!
