DIY Father's Day Memory Box Gift

Handmade gifts are often the best gifts! This Father's Day, why not make a special keepsake box for the fathers in your life? This would also make a great "just because" gift or work for any sentimental storage needs you might have!
Begin by staining a plain wood photo box. You can stain the inside and outside, or leave the inside unfinished like I did. It's up to you and how much time/effort you want to put into this project.
Stencil words or a design onto the top of the memory box. I stenciled "No. 1 Dad" onto the top of my box.
Add patterned scrapbook paper to the inside of the box. This will serve as a decorative liner. Also, add a label to the outside of the box, like "memories."
And that's it! Any father who receives this gift will now have a wonderful place to store all of the special treasures that come along with being a father. From handmade cards, to notes, to photos, and more - it's a perfect spot for any keepsake!
