Janet Pizaro on Jun 07, 2016That table is beautiful. I would definitely match the drawers with the legs as the main focus is the top.Helpful Reply

William on Jun 07, 2016Definitely the drawers should match the legs. Makes the piece cohesive and draws the eye towards the top. It is a beautiful piece!Helpful Reply

Ranger on Jun 08, 2016Black is a mourning colour... Perhaps just a darker brown than you have already. But definitely a darker colour than the feature top.Helpful Reply

Rebecca on Jun 08, 2016I would put smaller dogwoods on the front of the drawers. It would make the piece more cohesive.Helpful Reply

Heather Pauley on Jun 08, 2016The first thing I thought of was that you should paint the whole bottom black like Lori said in her comment BUT then I started to picture a smaller version of the top on the front of the drawers (maybe branch with just leaves) like Rebecca suggested. Either way definitely paint the rest black. What a great piece! Love your work!!Helpful Reply

Karen Powell on Jun 08, 2016Wow the top is beautiful! How did you do that? Was it a stencil or freehand? stain or paint? Wood burned? I'm totally intrigued! I agree that maybe doing some small dogwood flowers on the drawers would be gorgeous. My thoughts on the rest of the bottom is an Annie Sloan paint in Graphite. Not quite black and such a rich color! I used that on an old chair I found at a garage sale for $5 and it turned into a chair that looks like a $300 chair!Helpful Reply

Teresa on Jun 10, 2016Wow I know other said that but way to go I love it. What about adding some metallic accents in gold or silver you could use a rub on product or a paint on some of the accent areas of the turnings or the edge of the draw it would bring them out and make it all shine you could even add it to the edge of the table top. Hope you do more thanks for sharing. Did you answer the question how you did it? I would love to know. Hope this helps. TeresaHelpful Reply
