A Real Surprise When the Lights Go OUT....

I went to the Lumber yard in search of a piece of wood with great grain in it. I love using Unicorn SPiT Gel Stain on bare wood with lots of unique grain and I found this 24"x24' pine board that would be perfect for what I had in mind ....It's absolutely amazing what Unicorn SPit does to it....
I started off by sanding it lightly and then sprayed water on the board, so that the Unicorn SPiT can be applied easier. I diluted my SPiT with 30% water and started at the top using Blue Thunder working my way down with Purple Hill Majesty, Pixie Punk Pink and then I used a round saucer and with chalk I drew a circle where I wanted the sun to be. By the way I used my fingers, one of the best reasons to use Unicor SPiT it's non toxic and water base.
I then used Lemon Kiss and for the water Blue Thunder. Making sure not to go into the circle yet. I went back and blended the colors together. I then used the Lemon Kiss Not Diluted this time I painted in the sun. I took a little White Ning and blended some around the edge of the sun above the water and then with diluted Blue Thunder I brushed across the sun's reflection in the water. After all was dry I gave it 2 coats of Polyurethane.
Now this is where the Magic happens.... With a small amount of Polyurethane maybe like a tablespoon I mixed in about a half a teaspoon of Green Glow Powder and painted over the top half of the sun and in the water I brushed it here and there, I took the same amount of Poly and mixed Purple Glow Powder and then the same with Blue Glow Powder and swirled it in the sky, going along the grain to give it the look of clouds.
And last but not least with a small liner paint brush I dipped the end into Poly and into Agua Glow Powder and started randomly dotting the sky for the Stars. All it needs is to have light on it and then when the lights go out Bam you have yourself a Bright Sparkly piece of ART.
Because Unicorn SPiT Gel Stain is non toxic and water base (and smells amazing like Jasmine) This would be a perfect project for kids to do. Imagine how excited they would get when the Lights go Out....
