Wine Cork Art! DIY Picture Frame With Wine Corks

Here is a cool DIY Idea from Dell's Daily Dish that uses wine corks and a picture frame together. I love when you can use both red wine and white wine corks for a project - I love both kinds!
First, I took an old picture frame that I picked up at a local antique shop and painted it gold. Then I painted a small piece of wood black and used it as the base of my wine cork design.
Before you glue down the corks to the base, it's a good idea to set up your design, so you can make sure that the end result is symmetrical in shape. For this project, I used the white wine corks as an outline of a wine glass, and then made the glass look full or red wine by adding the corks from red wine bottles in the middle of the design. This is just one of many projects and ideas that I have done with wine corks though, so check out my blog for more cool ideas like this one!
Hope this inspires everyone out there to create your own designs with your extra wine corks! Come see more DIY projects at Dell's Daily Dish.

Thanks Hannah! I love to share crafty-projects like this. Anyone who likes wine and has a little bit of time can find so many great things to make out of the leftover corks!

Awesome! The black background with the gold frame makes the cork picture pop! Well done!
