I love displaying my red, white and blue proudly, especially on Independence Day! I put together 5 projects that take very little time or effort to help make your holiday celebration look outstanding without too much work! Let's DIY your holiday!
Make 5 Quick and Easy July 4th Decorations
Here are the 5 projects. Each one has a full tutorial you can find Here. I'm excited to share these, so let's get started!
Make an Easy DIY American Flag Pallet
This Pallet American Flag is what started my red, white and blue obsession! I had an old pallet at my lake house and decided to grab some red, white and blue spray paint and some starts and create an American flag! I love it!
Easy Mason Jar Candle Votive Decor
I enjoy the way candle light flickers at night, and I hate the way the mosquitos bite so I created this easy Mason Jar Tea Light Candle Holder. I just put citronella tea light candles in the rice decorated jar... pretty during the day, useful at night! You can see how I colored the rice for this jar Here. I have also helped decorate a rustic wedding with these jars just by changing the color!
American Flag Clothes Pin Wreath
My American Flag Clothes Pin Wreath! This wreath is the one thing that stays up all summer long at our lake house. I just love having it welcome me to my weekend of fun at the lake! It also reminds me of the fun we had making it. I painted the clothes pins and my kids clamped them on!
Mason Jar Utensil Holder
This project came about because I wanted something to put my plastic utensils in. This was the same year I made my pallet flag so I just grabbed some small jelly jars and using the same spray paint I made these cute little jars! They worked perfectly! This same idea could be used for all kinds of storage needs!
Upcycled Vintage Suitcase American Flag Decor
Do you ever have something you once loved but then found something you liked better and can't figure out what to do with the original item? That is what happened with this vintage suitcase. It was one of the first ones I picked up and since then I have found ones I felt had a little more character so this one was just sitting in storage not being used. Well what's a Diva to do? I decided to paint it like an American Flag and use it for my holiday decor. I have plans to paint to opposite side for a different holiday so it can be used for double duty. What holiday do you think would be best?

Well there you have it! 5 different projects you can do in under 30 minutes! If you are grabbing the spray paint for the flag wreath, you might as well use it and make the pallet flag and jelly jars to match and use up that can of paint!

Wishing you a fun and safe holiday!
