How can i seal protect my driftwood outside?

    one of the natural "beauties" of driftwood is its weathered look...it got that way by not being protected.
  • If you are intent on preserving it, use a good quality exterior wood sealer.

    If you use a sealer you will want to test it on a piece of scrap or similar material as these often change the "look" of the wood...this may produce an undesirable outcome...where left untreated my look better.

    I agree with KMS woodworks...One of the reasons you collected it in the first place was because it caught your eye with it's natural beauty. Don't do anything...once you start you will always have to keep sealing it.
