Dad's may seem all macho on the outside but when it comes to their kids making a fuss over them on Father's Day they turn to mush. At least I know my Dad did and my husband can't get enough of it! So this year make something special and unique, just for him.
You can find full tutorials for all these projects Here, or by following the link at the bottom!

Let's get started! How about we start with gifts for the yard...
Make Dad his own stepping stone to remember the day! Use an aluminum pan and some concrete and add in Dad's favorite things to accessorize your stone. Well, don't actually use his favorite things, he might not like his expensive wrench to become part of a stepping stone, but put in something to represent him and his special day.
This is one of my husband's favorite things in our yard. He is such a crazy birdwatcher! This project repurposes an old chandelier that was ready for the dump into this awesome bird feeder that adds character to your outdoor surroundings!
He will love this table top fire pit for nights hanging out on the deck and the kids will have a blast making it for him! You will have plenty of concrete to make him a mini fire pit and stepping stone at the same time!
What about some ideas for the office...

The kids will love decorating paper to make shaving cream art! It's great paper to make a card for Father's Day. ( it being done with shaving cream and all!) Have the kids draw a picture or write "I love you Dad" or you can put a great quote on the paper, throw it in a frame and poof, instant personal office decor!
Every office desk needs a paper weight! Grab some rocks and some acrylic paint with a small brush and have the kids go at it! These could also be used outside as decoration, you would just want to seal them to help protect them
Remind Dad of how much you miss him when he is at work with the next couple projects...

First up are these easy to make photo blocks. Personalize them by putting "Worlds Greatest Dad" on one and then some family photos on the others.
his photo project is one of my favorites! I will just let you know it's not a young kids project, but teens love it! It's a perfect way to get an older child to continue on with the tradition of making something for Dad for Father's Day! Basically you are using a gel medium to transfer a laser copied photo to the wood surface!
What about some home or home office ideas...

I put this awesome project in this category because it may be a bit too out there for some office settings, but how much fun is this! Especially if dad is a bike rider! This memo board is made by repurposing old bike tires that you can mount on the wall or on stands made out of plumbing supplies! Again, this is obviously not a project small children can do alone but I am sure they would love to help! Now that's a unique gift!
How about a couple gifts that might play double duty and help you out by getting dad to do some things you may be nagging him about...

For instance, this awesome catch all dish that dad can put his spare change in and all those other loose pocket things! No more having to go through his pockets before you wash his pants. Or, in my case, no more scratches from his keys on the night stand!
How about Dad never forgetting to use a coaster because he has his lovely family to put his drink on! Make him these photo coaster from travertine tiles. Just put several coats of Mod Podge over the photo to seal it in to make these one of a kind coasters.
You know that home run baseball Dad has from High School or all that other chunky memorabilia... why not make him this easy DIY Shadowbox Frame he can display those things in and get them out of hiding. He will love having some of his favorite things displayed!
And Last but not least, this vintage photo box would be a nice gift, but what he might like even better is to turn this project it into a Father's Day Coupon Book. Fill it full of things dad loves the family to do together and a chore or two the kids could help out with.
