Use for glass blocks

Has anyone got any ideas for using glass blocks in the garden please. Had them a while although did not buy them.. left by people before we lived here..they are so nice and it seems such a waste to throw them.

Maybe paint them with glass paint and use them as a border around a tree or a specific garden section.

If they are the kind with a hole in one end, you can insert Christmas lights and they look really nice.

Going off @Sheila's idea, you could try putting a small solar light (not on the stake, just the light portion) inside the block and see if it gives a glow in the evening in your garden or back yard

If they do have a hole in them you could use them as vases ,tooth brush holder, pen or pencil holder on a desk, or paint brushes in a craft area. Maybe adding some washi tape to decorate them to go with your decor
