Not a new idea, but a fun one. Tire flower planters two ways: wall mounted and 'tire-swing' inspired.

How do you keep bees from building nest in top part of tire?

I haven't had that issue. Maybe that's something specific to your region? This project is from several years ago and that tire did hang for quite a few years (probably at least 4) and I never encountered bees building a nest in it. Sorry I can't be more helpful, Linda!

I have tried this but no success in keeping my plant alive. What plant is reccommended for tires that don't have alot of soil depth?

This is one of the prettiest tire ideas that I have ever seen!!! How did you hang it on the wall? I think something like this hung on a fence, on a porch, or even by a mailbox would be cute too. I wonder if turning the tire inside out would make a larger planting area? And how that is accomplished? Maybe talking with someone at Les Schwab could shed some lite win this idea!

Yes, when I have a tire or two absolutely. Best idea I’ve seen.
