What is the BEST "glue or caulk" for metal bottles caps to wood?

I want to make plaque that has a design made from different colored metal beer bottle caps on some reclaimed pallet wood, and I don't want to see any glue. Most of the caps will be placed directly onto the WOOD, but some will actually be placed on top of other metal caps..??? What's the best GLUE or CAULK or EPOXY to use for this project..?? Thanks E

I do not know if it is the best per say, however I would try Gorilla super gel adhesive that will dry clear and appears to be easier to use.

I would try hot glue! Be careful, the caps will get hot.

E6000 works for metal, wood, and more, and without the stringy mess of hot glue. It comes in a grey tube.

Well, I was going to say use E6000 but I see someone beat me to it. I use I for almost all of my gluing projects. Stock up with 50% off coupons from JoAnns and/or Michaels. So easy to use.

Again, E6000. I work with both wood and metal projects and it is my go to glue.
