Transplanting blackberry plants-they keep dying
I have quite a few stray blackberry plants in my garden that are from my neighbor's plants that she had. Several were growing in a line so I built a support for them. I then transplanted some other strays near the support. They keep dying though after I move them. The first several plants were small but the last batch were at least 3' tall and stronger. I don't know if I watered them too much or if they needed more, or if blackberries just don't like to be moved. Any ideas? The plants that I didn't move, that I built the support near are doing great and have lots of berries on them.
