Vegetable plants very stunted but producing harvest

I have raised beds and planted vegetables in April. All plants are looking very healthy but are very stunted, yet are producing plenty of fruit/veggies. Is there a way to make the plants grow more full without harming the vegetable production? My wax bean plants are only 12 inches tall but are full of beans. Taste great, but was really hoping for more lush garden. Tons of rain in our area. Is this the problem?

Cynthia, cool weather might result in stunted growth, but I don't think too much rain would. This sounds like a soil-related issue to me. What did you fill your raised beds with.

Hi Cindy.....try Miracle Grow but Doug is right - check the soil first

Thanks for your help. Time to do a soil test. The weather has been a bit cooler this season so hopefully it didn't do much harm to them.
