What can be done with desiccant canisters?

My latest medication comes with these desiccant canisters. I've been saving them all but I don't know if they can be re-used in any way. Any ideas?

I have read you could use the desiccant to dry flowers although I have not tried. I use tiny baggies that buttons come in and little canisters like these for jewelry findings or beads.

Desiccant is used to control or eliminate moisture from damaging whatever they are put with. Control the moisture and you control the possibility of mildew. I use these in my storage totes for the Christmas stuff or Totes of clothing I need to store. Don't let pets or children get ahold of them!

I have used them to help dry out my cell phone when I accidentally thrown it in the water.

These can also be used as the core of beaded beads. You can also put them in containers or baggies with your sterling silver to slow tarnish from forming.

The core or center of the beaded bead is the shape. If you use a round bead as the center, you end up with a round shape, like wise with the cylindrical containers. Find the center of the end of the canister after emptying it. Pierce both ends at the center. Get your needle, thread and beads ready. you can find tutorials on pinterest or youtube. Have fun! These will make individual beads larger than your container. You can use multiple size beads in doing these. When you decide to try it, have fun and use your imagination!

Can the canister touch the food like brown sugar. It's quite different than the packages/pouches. I gather you mean dry goods.
