Need something cute to keep the kids busy?? Make this fun and super-easy July 4th craft!! Using left over bits of red, white and blue scrapbook paper, we were able to transform our candy into a fabulous favor...Perfect for gifting to neighbors and party guests this Independence Day!!
So cute... These are so easy to make. The kids will be so proud when they can pass out their very own "firecracker"!
For the candy we used:

Rolled Candy: Rolos, Sweet Tarts, Mentos, and Life Savers or any cylinder shaped packaged candy will do the trick.
You'll Need:

Scissors

Scrap paper in red, white or blue

Chenille Stems-(pipe cleaners) We used the sparkly kind

ClearTape

A pencil
Cut the paper the the size of your candy. Add two or three chenille stems and tape them to the bottom of the candy. Wrap the candy in the scrap paper, attach tape to secure edges.
Using a contrasting piece of paper, Cut out a small triangle and fasten so that it resembles a party hat or cone. Tape the cone onto the top of the "firecracker".
Using a pencil, twist the pipe cleaners around the pencil, creating a curly look. Slide the pencil out and repeat the curling process with the remaining pipe cleaners.
The only thing left to do is share your patriotic prizes with friends...pass them out!! Thanks so much for taking a look at this fun holiday craft. Please stop by the blog for even more July 4th inspiration...
