How to Reseal Packages With a Hair Straightener

This technique can be used on different types of packaging (chip bags, etc...) but I was sneaking cash into an assorted bag of chocolates for a graduation gift this time.
So I started with a large bag of chocolates.
If you're trying to be sneaky, carefully open/cut the package by breaking the seam of cutting as close to it as possible.
I did the same with some of the individual chocolates, replacing the contents with cash. (And eating me some chocolate.)
I turned my straightener down to the lowest setting (if it's not hot enough you can turn it up a smidge),
Then encased the edge needing sealed with foil.
It doesn't take more than a quick open/closed motion.
Here it is re-sealed.
Here's my pile of resealed packages...you can tell it's been done on the colored/heavier packages...but you really don't notice just glancing.
I did the same with the foil and straightener to reseal the large bag. This is the cut side now re-sealed.
I accidentally creased the front of the bag because I was so focused on the back...but nobody was suspicious! The gift went great and I played around with some Lipton noodle and chip bags...IT WORKS! If I get to where I'm using this more than occasionally, I'll invest in a real bag sealer, but it was just a one time gift this time!
