How can I store my scarves

I have a million scarves and they are jumbled and difficult to find - anyone have ideas about how to store them?

Get a small ladder and drape them over by assortment of color.This way when you need one you can choose easier.

Ive seen people make a framed area on wall with old cabinet knobs. Ive seen hangers with shower curtain loops.

A tiered pant hanger works well and doesn't take up much space.

I cut down a old coat rack , it looks good and holds several scarves

I took a new shoe rack (the type that hangs on the back of a door) and secured the scarves to it. It is out of the way, and you can see at a glance which one you want.

My daughter has a million scarves too. She bought (3) kits of the wire curtain hangers from IKEA that come with clips - extended them wall to wall in her walk in closet and clips the scarves by color from it - looks very cute!

I roll them up over one hand, tuck in the ends and store them in a drawer. Very efficient and you can see all of them at once.

I bought a velvety hanger with rings, similar to this: http://www.walmart.com/ip/HDS-TRADING-CORP-FH01455-3PK-VELVET-SCARF-HANGER-W-HOOK/37730155 They don't slide off because of the texture. Here is another type in the video.

Saw an earlier post where a coat hanger with shower curtain rings were used for hanging the scarves. They actually sell hangers for scarves but the former would be a functional and economical way to store them hanging with out wrinking.
