I've heard asiatic, oriental, etc. lily. Which is it? Also heard this year that they hate to be disturbed. So this is one planted last year. My daughter is 5'9"

    I wonder if they would self-seed? And would they be considered invasive. Because a lot of plants that are not necessarily native (to the USA or other countries, ie Australia), can spread with alarming speed.Definitely take advice from a local nursery as I've done in the past.

    Lilies grow from bulbs and as the bulb grows and matures it multiplies by growing little bulbs off of the main bulb. Then the following year you may have 2 or 3 stalks instead of the one single stalk. It is very difficult to start any type of lily from seed.
