Patriotic Wall Art: Framing Vintage Flags

Framed flags make terrific wall art. A nice black frame grounds it and the red provides a nice pop of color in almost any room.
I buy up old frames and old flags on sticks at garage sales and thrift stores and then match them up by size.
If they don't already have a vintage look, I like to soak them in a tea "bath" to slightly darken them and give them some age spots.
This is how they look after they've taken their bath, been dried, and then ironed--ready for framing.
