Planning a budget friendly party or special event?
Nothing is better than adding in your personal creations to an event you are hosting. It's just an extra bonus knowing that you are saving money while doing it too!
The theme was Rustic Elegance. The event was held outdoors with rolling vineyards and large beautiful trees. Why not keep the natural nature theme going and add it to the tables decor too?
We purchased Curly Willow from a local florist. It's not expensive and two bundles will give you approximately 50 rings.
Materials

2 Bundles Curly Willow (made approx. 50)

**Ask your local florist or order fresh online**

22 - 24 Gauge Floral Wire (stems)

1 Silk Hydrangea Stem

1 dried/stryofoam floral cluster (for flower center)

Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks

Dike Cutters
**Curly Willow can dry out if not stored in water before working with it. If you find it starting to dry out, soak the whole bundle or trimmings in water for a while. It will become manageable again. This is a good tip to remember about grape vines trimmings too.**

Take a two pieces of willow trimmings and intertwine them a few times. Curl into a napkin ring size, leaving willow tails.

Using your floral wire, place the wire stem between your fingers and the intersecting top part of the willow ring.

Give the wire a twist to help hold it in place and then wrap one wire tail around the top section of your napkin ring.

Grab a flower from your hydrangea bundle and thread the other wire tail through the center of the flower.

Bring the wire down between two of the petals and finish wrapping around the willow napkin ring.

Hot glue your center flower cluster on your petal.
LOOK HOW CUTE THEY ARE!!

We made 100 and the cost was under $20
