My mystery plant needs a name

I had a pot of dry soil on the porch and was going to throw away when sprouts sprang up. I'm thinking it must be a bulb plant that hubby brought home at some time, but can anyone tell me it's name please? Thanks for your help!

Looks very similar to a curcuma (or hidden) lily. I think it might be in the ginger lily family

I have this and it multiplies very quickly! If you don't want it to take over, I suggest planting in a bucket in the ground! Curcuma alismatifolia (Hidden lily, some call it ginger) http://stokestropicals.plants.com/Curcuma-alismatifolia-Pink-Siam-Tulip-P78.aspx

I have a very similar ginger and it spreads like mad in my garden. My flowers are much lighter pink and lower to the ground and the leaves are much larger. It is beautiful, but travels underground.
