Rockery

I transformed two sloped areas of grass into a rock garden.
This is how it looked when i moved to this house 2 years ago
This path you see was in the center of the are. I am just about to start digging the area
this is the new steps down to the grass
This is me putting the field stones down the edge of the steps. had to go looking for these round all the farmers fields
All dug out awaiting the stones.
Stones in and some plants
all finished. Just now need to wait and let the plants spread

From someone who has lugged some rock - my garden hat is off to you! That was a huge job, looks great and will only get better as it fills in, Jeanette !

Thank you. Yes it was very hard work had to bring them to my home a little at a time in my car. Then carry them to the area. The finished result was worth the effort.
