Head on over and check out how I took an old beat up marine window and turned it into a farmhouse style vintage looking Milk and Cream Co. sign. Using my silhouette to cut out the lettering and laying the vinyl on the glass, I just painted in the stencil like you normally would. After the paint was dry I took some CeCe Caldwells paint and slapped it on a the frame of the window. Making sure not to be perfect since I wanted it to look old and beat up. What I was left with, was a perfect old vintage style sign.
the finished sign, hanging in my kitchen next to my pallet sign.
after cutting out the stencil in my silhouette I laid it out on the glass. putting my cutting mat behind the glass to make it easier to line up.
slapping on some acrylic paint.
another shot of the sign hanging in my kitchen.
