I had the exact same ones! I painted them white and found the coolest paper and decouped under the glass so make it water proof. If you get tired of the design just soak in water and peel off. Gave them to my grand daughter as night stands for her bed room!
    • The decoupage is a great idea. So many materials and patterns can be used: wallpaper, fabric, different types of papers (gift wrap, newspaper, paper napkins, etc), and just plain paint underneath could be another alternative.

I would paint them a new color that stands out. Aqua, red, etc. Then buy a piece of glass for on top. You can usually get square or round at H. Depot or Lowe's.

you can also paint and get a square planter or use wood for flowers; you can also make the table into a free standing water fountain; wood on the inside; a liner and then the fountain; on the outside of the wood some type of stone or tile or for a rustic look wood planks

I would spray paint the table with rustoleum 2x available in a large variety of color. Once you decide on the color plant a container with flowers of contrasting colors.

You could paint them a bright color and then add a plywood top that you did a mosaic on. A mosaic is done with breaking some dinner plates of different colors and arranging them in a pattern of your choice. Then grout between the spaces with a matching grout.

My patio is exposed to high humidity, so I used black Rustoleum spray paint on the legs, added a plywood top with beveled edges and stencils on the top. It looks great.

paint the stand in white. change the top glass to a slightly larger size. put a wooden panel beneath the glass level where we can see three holes on the rim. paint the wooden panel in white. you can decoupage this wooden panel with some flowers using tissue paper. i a sure this will turn out beautiful.

For sure paint. Then a marble or you can get granite and have it cut to fit.

I would cut a piece of plywood to fit the top but cut another hole in center (size optional). Take a piece of hardware cloth, large enough to form a basket like form to fit in center hole. It needs to be at least 4" deep. You can then put moistened sheet moss on bottom and around the sides. Add a potting mix. And then plant anything from salad to a succulent arraignment to a Fairy Garden. You can still use edges of table and have a beautiful centerpiece.

just be sure to seal the ply wood that you use other wise over time it will deteriorate and you will have to replace it

I hate having glass on my patio tables, they are always dirty and take a lot of cleaning. I do love the product Feather Finish made by Henry. I used several different colors that I added to the product and layered on. They turned out looking like stone. I love them.

Paint it with a bright color paint that matches other patio furniture then take plywood and cut to size and then tile with Mexican tile squares to add a design finish with light weight bathroom or back splash tile, then grout it will be heavy enough to resist wind
