DIY Key and Burlap Lampshade

I used a vintage keys and burlap to cover the shade of a thrift store lamp. More on the blog.
The shade didn't fit over the lamp without the fabric melting onto the bulbs.
I removed the fabric, then added retro key fringe on the rim.
A few pieces of burlap ribbon were glued in place to diffuse light.
I love the way the keys jingle when you bump the lamp.
It is now a permanent part of our guest room.
Definitely a conversation piece!
