I have that vine as well. Beautiful ever summer. I do not know what it is either! My friend brought a root from California from his plant and buried it in my garden 9 yrs ago. He didn't know the name of it. Hoping someone knows
It looks like English Ivy!? It's a pretty hardy ivy, easy to grow without much maintenance! The only reason I know that is because I've had them before and didn't kill them! ;)
Here is a picture posted by a Hometalk member showing a Moonvine. As you can see it is not the same leaf. English Ivy has a shiny leaf and does not bloom like the plant in the picture.

Having pulled up quite a bit of the stuff, again, this morning, I'm with Donna. Some type of bindweed and I doubt you will want to keep it around for long. What I pulled up was trying to take over my hydrangeas.
No-not a bindweed. Doesn't that produce a flower? This vine is greenery only with large heart shaped delicate leaves not like English ivy. Grows from a single root stem that doesn't multiply.
