Is there anything that can be added to our garden that promotes fruit development ?

Walter, Our garden produces great looking, leafy plants, but, I've noticed some gardens seem to produce more fruit. Our squash (yellow & zucchini), plants are very leafy and we get a few very large zucchini, not as many yellow.

I'm assuming you have plenty of sun. If it's a new garden spot, my experience is that they take a couple of years to really start producing gangbusters.

Make sure you're not using a fertilizer with too much nitrogen, which focuses on leaf production. Plant companion plants to attract bees to ensure good pollination.
