Modern Orange Table

An easy way to update old furniture is to give it some much needed color. Don't be afraid! It is just paint. The only thing you have to lose is a little bit of time if you don't like it and want to paint it again. For something this small I only get a tester tub made up ($2.95) and then mix it into my homemade chalkpaint recipe. I still had about half of my paint mixture left when I was done.
Painting with pops of color give more traditional furniture a modern edge and is way cheaper than buying new. It is a quick and easy update.
Homemade Chalkpaint recipe:divide your container into 4ths. Pour in a bit of plaster of paris and mix with water up to the 1/4 line. Then add your paint and mix well. Add little bits of water if starts to get thick. Store in airtight container.
Now go BOLD!
