Does anyone recognize this mystery plant?

A friend gave me 4 of these plants 2 years ago, it has finally bloomed and I love it. I have no idea what it is, do you?

    No answer, but it's gorgeous. What do the leaves look like? How tall is it? Is it a vine? What were the plants like that you received?

      Thank you, I think it is gorgeous too! I believe it is a Peruvian lily. The leaves look like a kaffir lily, which is what I thought it was, imagine my surprise when it bloomed today!

    Here in the Philippines, we call them "Spider Lilies". They thrive even in muddy shaded areas

    Peruvian lily, very testy about blooming. Beautiful. I believe they are from the amaryllis family

      I agree, it does look the same, however the cahaba lily is specific to the south - particularly Alabama, from what I read. I live in southern California and am not near water.

    Is indeed a spider lily (I have some of the same). There are many varieties of spider lilies as you will see if you do a Google image search. Aren't they just beautiful!

    I know this as a spider lilly. Have seen them proliferate in harare zimbabwe in full sun.

    In Louisiana we call them Swamp Lilies. They grow wild in the swamps of Louisiana.
