Can you give me advise on how to make laminate floors shine. I have tried every thing and they are still dull.

I wash mine with just vinegar and water. I don't mop, I wash on my hands and knees. That being said, I usually only do the kitchen and dining room even though I have the laminate throughout the main floor.

You need to keep in mind how a laminate floor is constructed. The top layer is just a thin acrylic layer. This "plastic" comes from the factory in various levels of shine based on the product specs. Some cleaners may leave residue that will contribute to "dullness" but in the far majority of cases normal wear and tear has put very fine scratches (mircoscopic to some degree) in this top layer. No amount of cleaning will fix it, and it can not be "refinished" like a real hardwood floor. Some people have had a little bit of luck with some secondary add on cleaner and "polish" type products.
