I'm looking for an inexpensive (preferably recycled) way to organize boots for someone short on closet space. Thanks! :)

I figured out what I'm going to do. So here is the answer to my own question if anyone is interested. I'm going to reuse the hangers you get when you purchase pants. I'm going to loop soda tabs on the hooks to hang them one on top of the other. Free and recycled, score. Thanks!

I put mine on pants hangers. I just use the pant hanger inside each boot.

My idea is to use pieces of pool noodles, knotted with rope. Stick noodle in each boot and hang on a hook,etc...

I clip mine together with what is like a big bulldog clip with a hook on top and simply hang then on the wardrobe rail..

I also used the pants hanger with the clips, and I designated a portion of my closet with hooks the kind you would use to hang your coats o, or just hang them on the clothes rail. and just hang them.

I use rolled up magazines I'm through with or rolled up newspapers. Boots stand alone and I place mine in the bottom of the closet. This was my favorite. The only boots I wear much now are winter snow boots.

Apart from storing them in a rubbermaid (see-thru) container for the off season and hidden under the bed - if there's no other spot in the house, you can use the rolled up magazine/newspaper/empty paper towel trick. If you have the luxury of an empty dresser drawer, they can lay on their side and be tucked away.
