I Call It Toilet Art!

The Mister tore out the toilet in our downstairs bathroom. The lid has been sitting outside the door for about a week, when one day I went by it and thought, you know what, I can do something with that. Of course Mister thought I was nuts and told me so, lol.
Old Toilet Lid
I decided to spray paint a few clear coats of paint onto the lid to give it some grit or texture. I mixed up a little paint that I had and painted the lid, I only painted about 3/4 of it.
I took a napkin and dabbed it around on top of the paint, it gave it a little texture to it.
Next came the photo I wanted to use. I got it from The Graphics Fairy, love her graphics.
Here is how it turned out! I love it and even The Mister complimented it, but it was still lacking, so back to the Graphics fairy I went.
I had to add more paint to the top to make sure the ink stuck, but somehow it is yellow compared to the lower half that was painted.
Then I added a little decoration on the bottom.
Overall it isn't so bad and The Mister liked it a whole lot. It's hard to impress him so I was happy!!

You can read it all on my blog!
Here is an update as to how I have it displayed in my daughter's room!

I have downloaded and printed a picture from the Graphics Fairy but cannot think of how to transfer it onto something. Do you have any suggestions how I can transfer it off onto a table? I'm having a bathroom remodel and will have a tank cover and seat cover and will be looking to the Graphics Fairy again. Any information you can give me will be appreciated!
