Bus Shelter at Rocky Road Backpackers - South Africa
We decided to do something different at out backpackers, so we built this bus shelter in a couple of days. A bus called the Baz Bus provides a door to door service that drops guest off at our place. The round inlay is driftwood collected on the beach and than bleached with chlorine to give the whitewash effect.

Sherrie on Jul 23, 2013How fun! And how fun would it be in Africa coming to your house!
Rocky Road Backpackers on Jul 23, 2013Please feel free to pop in or stay when you are in our part of the world. I am happy to share ideas and get more input for on going projects. Have been thinking about building a tree house style steam room and spa high up off the ground. Any ideas where I can find funky designs for our new project. A rustic look with a Jacuzzi and a steam room on a timber deck, overlooking a forest and waterfall. The front side will have mostly glass to take in the full calming view. It has to have that cosy, naughty, sexy feeling about it. Some ideas will be much appreciated.
