The BEFORE PIC.- 1960's yellow, textured, Formica countertops. Yuck!
Painted the cabinets black and used black contact paper to cover a white fridge!
After a $5.00 roll of contact paper!
Close up pic.

Needed a roll and a half so I could match up the seams and make it look like it flowed as one piece.
Suggested materials:
  • Contact peel & stick paper, razor blade for trimming.   (Big Lots)

I did this exact same thing using wood look contac paper. It looked great as yours does. I would suggest that you get some clear contac paper and put over your marble looking paper. Over time as I cleaned my counter, the wood grain wore off and I ended up with a beige counter! I would hate to see your hard work ruined.

I've done the same thing, but I agree, mine has worn at the sink area, fortunatly its an easy repair, just stip off the worn and redo!
