Should Shasta daisies be cut down after they bloom?

If they are cut down will they bloom a second time in the summer?

    I cut mine back after they are through blooming. In my experience, mine in MI do not rebloom this year. I just prefer to have a tidier look and once they are turning black and spent, I prefer to have them gone.

    Sometimes I get a second bloom after cutting back. And I think they look better as well. Mine are starting to flop over now.
