Looking for a good inexpensive source for vintage or antique or just reproduction hardware for furniture such as knobs and drawer pulls, shelf brackets, coat hooks hinges, etc. Any ideas?
Hardware I have found but are quite pricey and hard to find more than one of.

If you're looking for old, then Habitat Restore and inexpensive reproductions at Hobby Lobby. Wait until they're on sale, about once a month for 50% off. That is if you have those stores in Canada. I just noticed that's where you're from .

@Rose White Flea markets, yard sales, and habitat for humanity stores are great. You can also check out etsy.com and get some really unique pieces and not really poor prices! www.etsy.com

HOBBY LOBBY HAS THESE ITEMS AND THEY'RE USUALLY 50% OFF ON THEIR PRICE QUITE OFTEN! LOVE THE OLD REPRODUCTIONS THEY HAVE!

  • Wishing we had Hobby Lobby in Canada!! But I have found some good knobs, etc. at the Habitat Restore. Yard sales and auctions are also a source, but it's hit and miss.

Architecture Antiques are also a great hunting ground. I had always wanted to go to Chicago and visit a salvage place there. It covers multiple floors of a huge old building. I saw a TV segment about it and was drooling. I figure I would need a semi truck on my way home!
