Craft made with shells

I just returned from North Carolina where I picked up a lot of seashells. I particularly like the ones that have been "polished" by the waves and sand and are now thin and silvery. I would like to make hanging art, something like a mobile...any ideas??

I've seen some "chandelier" type things done with shells...very thin and translucent, then also had a bonus "wind chime" type effect as well.

You can use an embroidery hoop and fish wire to mimic a chandelier. Or get inspired with this one here http://www.younghouselove.com/2009/05/window-shopping-sweet-savannah/. Looks simple enough to do with the hoop and wire. I love trying to make things from pictures. Good Luck!

Tie them randomly on string tied to a piece of drift wood and hang in a window.
