Monogram Wreath in Under 30 Minutes

3 Materials
This is a gorgeous and simple wreath that can be made in under 30 minutes. Seriously. I did a little prep work ahead of time. I cut my blooms leaving about a 2" stem and made the bow ahead of time.
You'll need a grapevine wreath, silk flowers (hydrangeas in this case) a letter, and bow ribbon. You'll need the usual wire cutters, hot glue, and floral wire or zip ties also. I sort of laid out the items on the wreath to see where I wanted them to go. Then started.
I took the first flower and dipped the stem into the hot glue. I like using a hot glue skillet for attaching flowers. It's just easier to me.
Take the flower and just sort of smoosh the stem in between the twigs of the wreath. Repeat that step for all of the flowers
After you attach a couple of flowers, stop and look at how it's coming together to be sure it's as you want it.
I added some leaves for visual interest, the bow, and then the monogram. The letter took a couple of extra steps to attach. Everything is explained in better detail at Under a Texas Sky.
Here is a video of the exact same style of wreath if you prefer video tutorials.

Hot glue skillet? Now that makes sense to me rather than fighting the glue gun for those little stems. So with the "leftovers," what do you do? Cover and store? I have a little 7" electric skillet I never used - would be perfect. PS: Waving a howdy-do to you from Frisco!

I LOVE your wreath. It strikes me that one could do 4 wreaths. One for each season. I'm sure other colors would be as pretty.

Thanks so much! The possibilities are endless! I've got a really pretty on on my door right now that's got some different hydrangeas. I love this style! It's such an easy wreath, you really can do several with seasonal colors.
