My bedroom wall is dully painted. It has no sunlight. It looks shabby. It is a large bedroom but more furniture makes it look shabbier and messy. Please help to brighten up the same without painting the walls.

Try hanging some bright artwork with an up light or spot light aimed at the art. The bigger the better. It will add interstate and colour without painting the wall.

Artwork etc will add more detail but if you need to lighten up the room you need to physically add lighting. Lamps, overhead lighting, battery pillar candles will all add glow and warmth. With a large room you can even create areas and light them accordingly. A reading nook with a great table and lamp, bedside lamps, etc.

You need to reflect the light. Not knowing the paint color, and you say it is dull but do not want to paint, I think it will be hard to brighten without making the room feel loud.

I was going to suggest hanging shear curtains or even plain solid color flat sheets. Hang with staples or thumbtacks. Can staple the material to a thin narrow piece of wood also if you want to pull the material tighter...like framing it just at top and bottom. Then use mirrors to reflect the lighter color from the material. Good luck, relax, and have some fun with it!
