Douglas Hunt on Jul 25, 2013My understanding as well is that it can take five for seven years for them to flower. I just planted one a few months ago and certainly hope I don't have to wait that long, though.Helpful Reply

MaryAnn B on Jul 29, 2013My info on trumpet vine is to treat it poorly. Don't fertilize it and water it sparingly. I agree with Madelyn. I had to dig mine out because it was pulling over my arbor. Now I have it coming up all over.Helpful Reply
