Re-purposed Pallet Racking to Lofted Bed..."Little Man Cave"...

My son's bedroom is REALLY small...so we decided to loft his bed to make more space. By re-purposing pallet racking and a metal corn crib ladder, we created a fun industrial vibe that will grow with him. He might even take it to college for his dorm room someday :)

This amazes me. I've never seen a pallet put to this kind of use. Having an engineer husband certainly has its perks! :)

@@ @Chipping with Charm, Laurel can we see the underside of the mattress? do you have instructions for the man cave? thinking of dividing 1 large bdrm into 2 small, in order to make a guest bed, and wondering how small we can go to still have a comfortable, functional room.

Hi @Polly Zieper , I added a couple more photos and details if you are still interested. We also did a lofted bed in my daughter's room if you'd like to take a peek at that post... http://www.hometalk.com/2075585/lofted-cottage-bed-for-our-little-girl-s-dream-room. My son's room is approx. 9X12 and my daughter's room is approx. 10X10...hope that helps :)
